Cleaning
In normal conditions, rain is sufficient to keep honeycomb polycarbonate sheets clean.
In cases of excess dirt, a solution of water and neutral soap can be used, as long as it does not contain any abrasives or solvents. We recommend starting with only warm water, and then using a clean, soft cloth or brush with alkaline soaps or household detergents in warm water.
Repeat this several times. Avoid scratches to the surface from hard brushing, and then rinse using only water then dry with a soft cloth.
Small oil or tar stains can be removed by using alcohol or benzene followed by thorough rinsing with warm detergent water.

We recommend sealing the tops of the panels with an adhesive aluminum to prevent dirt from getting into the chambers. It is also advisable to clean it periodically using neutral detergents and non-abrasive instruments. |
